The second version of Break Monad was launched on the 3rd of this month, this time the games are available through the Farcaster platform.
In this text I will explain what this event is and how to interact with it.
What is Break Monad
Monad is in testnet, a period used to test the network to the maximum to discover possible bugs and improvements. Break Monad is a campaign aimed at generating the largest number of transactions possible on the network through mini games.
The first version of this game/challenge was launched on March 11 and millions of transactions were carried out during this period (as you can see in the chart shared by @monadicoo on March 15)
Break Monad 2.0
The second version is being held on Farcaster, a kind of social network focused on the web3 world. Within this platform, you will have access to games where you can perform multiple transactions on the network in a simple, fast, and fun way.
How to Participate?
First, you need to create an account on this social network. To do this, follow the tips in the video below (published by the official account of this project on YouTube).
After creating and setting up your account, go to: Profile > Edit Profile
Then click on Preferred wallet and connect your preferred wallet.
Go to the page https://farcaster.xyz/miniapps/editors-choice, where you will have access to a list of games to interact with and start “breaking Monad.” Below I will give a quick explanation about some of the main games on this page.
2048
It is a game where you must combine squares with the same numbers. Your goal is to achieve the highest score possible.
Each merging move you make is a transaction on the Monad network.
Sperm Survival
It’s the classic snake game, but here you control a sperm. Your goal is to collect only the healthy items. I believe each collected item generates a transaction on the network.
Faucet
Faucet for those who have less than 5 Monad
MonTip
With this app, you can send MONs to other users
Monad Flowers
Send flowers to other users and see the flowers you’ve received (I believe they may even give MONs as gifts). Each send is a transaction.
P1x3ls
Here you can buy pixels of a “piece of art” made by users with your MONs. I believe each pixel you interact with counts as a transaction on the network.
Chog vs Cat Girls
This is a survival game where you are Chog and fight against Cat Girls. Your goal is to achieve the highest possible score (I haven’t yet figured out when the transactions are made in this game).
Flappy Trump
It’s a game similar to Flappy Bird, but with Trump as the main character. This game was featured in Shark Tank on 05/27, and the transactions are carried out on the network after you lose the match.
There are other games besides these, here is a list with more options: https://x.com/TheMonadOG/status/1930100328374120509
In addition, I would also like to recommend Gus’s post. If you’re having trouble creating your account, this content will probably help you: https://x.com/GusGuandalini/status/1930037464413991135
